For you and your family

Try your money decisions before you make them

FinPlay is a simulation of real life. You choose a job and a home, take responsibility for a family — and in one afternoon you see where those decisions take you. In a fun way, in a safe environment and even from the comfort of your home.

Why it works

Most people learn about money from their own mistakes. Those are the most expensive lessons there are — and they can be lived through for practice.

Learning by experience

Not a lecture about interest rates. You make the decisions and you see the consequences on yourself. Your own experience is still usable five years later.

Mistakes that cost nothing

In the simulation you can go broke, fall into debt and win. Safely, and in one afternoon — what in real life takes years and hurts.

Real numbers

The simulation rests on 30 years of real data — markets, interest rates, property, rents, fund indices. Not on invented examples.

Learn it together with the person you want to tell one day

You can sign up together with someone close to you — each person separately, with their own e-mail. Money is easier to talk about at home when both of you have lived through it, and it is not one person lecturing the other.

What to expect

Nothing to prepare for. Just come.

  • No prior knowledge. Everyone starts from the same position.
  • Teams are mixed on purpose — decisions are made together.
  • At the end the results are compared and discussed.
  • Your invoice arrives as soon as you have paid.

Pick a date

Dates are published by individual lecturers, so you can also choose by who leads the session.
