For schools and teachers

Themed days and systematic teaching to the curriculum

Financial literacy is in your programme. FinPlay covers it as a single themed day or as systematic teaching that meets the curriculum. 1 to 5 hours as you see fit, from a small group of pupils to the whole school at once. We can also train your teacher, and you can then organise FinPlay education yourselves.

How does it work at a school?

The video is in Slovak.

Four forms a school can choose from

All four are led by a lecturer certified by FinPlay and all four rest on the same simulation. They differ in what the lesson is meant to produce.

Workshop

Moderated by a lecturer, supported by the app. From 1 to 5 hours, from a small group to the whole school at once — you decide the scope.

Contest

The same simulation run as a contest of individuals or pairs. Results can be compared and discussed at the end — and that comparison is what pupils remember.

A licence for your teacher

We train the teacher you appoint. They receive a certificate authorising them to use the FinPlay programme, and from then on they run workshops and contests themselves — without us and without waiting for our date. For teachers, two participants are enough.

Lecture

For a gentler start. Length and content by agreement.

One day or the whole year

FinPlay meets the financial literacy curriculum. You choose how to bring it into your teaching.

Themed day

The whole topic in one block. Pupils try out decisions about money and discuss them together at the end.

Systematic teaching

Regular lessons over the school year that meet the curriculum — especially when your own trained teacher runs the programme.

What you do not have to prepare

This is the whole reason to consider FinPlay: the lesson is finished before you start working on it.

Pupils in a classroom working through the simulation on a tablet together
  • The script and the flow of the lesson — what happens when, and why.
  • Materials and the app. A tablet or a phone is enough for each pupil.
  • The lecturer. They come to you, or run the lesson online.
  • Splitting pupils into teams and the wrap-up at the end.
  • Preparing the teacher. They can sit in with us and need not present anything.

How it starts

Write to us how many pupils and roughly when. We will come back with a date and with what needs preparing on your side.

An enquiry commits you to nothing.
