Privacy notice

What we need to know about you when you sign up for our education, why we need it and how long we keep it.

Valid from October 27, 2026.

Who processes the data

FinPlay, s. r. o., Bučany 671, 919 28 Bučany, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 50549561, registered in: Obchodný register Okresného súdu Trnava, oddiel: Sro, vložka č. 38553/T.

For matters of personal data you can reach us at info@finplay.sk.

What data we collect

When you register for an event:

  • first name and surnameso we know who is coming and can address you in the confirmation
  • email addresswe send the confirmation, a reminder and the link to manage your registration to it
  • phone numberoptional; we only use it if something changes at the last minute
  • the fact that you consentedtogether with the date and the version of this text

If you ask for an invoice to a company, in addition:

  • company name, company ID, tax ID, VAT IDwithout them the invoice does not meet what the law requires
  • billing addressthe same obligation

When you pay by card, the card details never reach us at all. Stripe handles the payment on its own page; we only learn that the payment went through, its amount and when.

Contact form and protection against misuse

For closed trainings you can send a request to join through the form. We note your name, email, phone if given and your message — only so we can get back to you. The request is deleted after 12 months.

So that the forms cannot be misused for mass sending, we store your IP address and the number of attempts. This trace is deleted after two days.

Who on our side sees the data

The lecturer who runs the event sees the list of registered people: name, email, the status of the registration and payment (not the card details) and the discount code you used. They need the data to run the event. They do not see the phone number.

FinPlay staff with access to administration see registrations, payments and invoices. If an administrator enters a lecturer's account to help them, the system records it.

Why we are allowed to

  • performance of a contractwithout your name and address we cannot register you for the event or send you access
  • legal obligationwe must keep invoices and payment records under the accounting act
  • consentticking the box in the registration form; you can withdraw it at any time

How long we keep it

A participant's personal data for 12 months after the event ends. Then the system itself overwrites it so that it can no longer be linked to a person — it does not wait for someone to remember. This also applies to an email address left with a used discount code.

The exception is invoices and payment records. We must keep them for the period set by the accounting act, even if you withdraw your consent — this is a legal obligation, not our choice.

Who we pass it to

Only to those without whom registration would not work. No selling for advertising, no passing on to third parties for their own purposes.

  • Stripecard payments — name, email and billing address
  • Resendsending emails — email address and the content of the message
  • Supabasedatabase and sign-in, servers in the European Union
  • Vercelrunning the website itself
  • Googlecalendar invitation and online meeting link, if the event is online

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct, delete or restrict it, to give it to you in a portable form, and you can object to the processing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time — withdrawal does not affect what was processed before.

Write to info@finplay.sk. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can turn to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky).

Cookies and measurement

The site only uses what it could not work without — keeping you signed in and security cookies. We do not track you for advertising and we do not use third-party analytics.

The exception is a YouTube video on some pages. Until you start it, nothing is sent to YouTube. When you start it, the YouTube (Google) player loads, receives your IP address and may store its own cookies.
